Enter the newest contender in the modern nursery market. The Ian Crib , by Bruce Marsh, is the picture of linear simplicity. What makes Ian stand apart from some others we've seen is its warmth, we think due to the fact that it's handcrafted from solid American hardwoods. No veneers, particle board, or plywood.

And like the Oeuf crib, Ian has an optional changing station that sits atop the crib rails. The crib has 3 adjustable heights and the crib sides can be installed at 2 different fixed heights.

The Ian Crib is $2150 and available in three finishes (walnut, maple or mahogany for an extra $900).

It *is* beautiful, but unless you are really rich and have ample storage so that you can pass it down to subsequent generations, it is hard to justify...

I'm with Luce. The corners are really scary. Who wants to stick ugly foam corners on their $2-3k crib?
