Fans of IKEA cribs have reason to celebrate. The Swedish retailing giant has introduced a new crib to its lineup - Hermelin, in primary blue.
It's simple, straight lines make it versatile enough to fit into an ultra-mod nursery, a charming vintage nursery, or something in between.

A conversion kit is included so you can transform Hermelin into a toddler bed when the time comes.
It's $119. We really like the color; it's definitely a bold statement that agrees with you or not.
The Hermelin looks very similar to its cousin, the ever-popular Gulliver. The main difference, besides color, is the wood paneling at the head and foot board of the Hermelin.
Speaking of Gulliver, we had heard that it was being discontinued and indeed was removed from IKEA's USA site. But the new Gulliver is back and available. There doesn't seem to be any discernible difference in design, but IKEA raised the price tag by $10. At $99, it's still one of the cheapest modern cribs available.
