Skylar Crib

2008-09-10-skylar.jpg

Looks like PBKids has stepped out of its comfort zone and introduced a more modern crib, Skylar. The description says Skylar has a slim profile and works well for small spaces.

There are three underneath for storage with reversible drawer fronts that can show an espresso or white finish.

The Skylar crib is $699. What do you think of PBKids' take on modern?

I Like it. I like that it's bottom heavy, it feels more substantial. I like that the drawers seem more like furniture than a flimsy catch-all below the crib. Also, I wanted to buy a low to the ground crib but didn't because it was hard to get to the storage space under it- if it was even there. This solves that problem. The problem of spending $700 on a crib however, has not been solved and that's why, I'd still go with my buy buy baby $249 special... but that's just me. I returned a bugaboo I rec'd as a gift and instead outfitted the entire nursery AND bought a stroller and carseat with the credit I rec'd.
