Here's a mobile that will take a long time to outgrow. It's not cutesy, plush or particularly colorful, but we're betting it will hold the interest of your baby for years to come. Not to mention give them a leg up in science class.
Celestial and Globe Mobiles
According to the product description, it "authentically replicates orbit paths and planetary details," (thought we must admit we only see seven planets here.). Currently on sale for $55 at Restoration Hardware.
Restoration Hardware has sold out of this similar globe mobile, but we found it for sale here ($70). It represents five centuries of cartographer's beliefs about the world and, we think, is darn cool.
