Etsy Find: Pillow Covers by June B

072209japanesepillow.jpgIt's amazing what a couple of pretty, bright pillow covers can do for a space. If you're adding the final, unique touches to a nursery- think about buying (or sewing if you can) pillow covers. We gave new life to a couple of feather pillow inserts from Ikea on our leather couch by adding two cases covered in this colorful Japanese print by Etsuko Furuya.

072209pillowcover.jpgThese fabrics are sophisticated and cute at the same time, and also appeal to the little ones. Our ten-month old noticed the new cases immediately and can't seem to get enough of them.

This particular fabric won't be around for long because it's printed it small batches so you won't see it in catalogs or most likely, other friend's homes. June B is selling them in a number of sizes. The two fabrics we chose were Bird to Hang and Tiger on Flower.

072209snowwhite.jpgThis Snow White fabric also by Etsuko Furuya would be such a tasteful way to incorporate fairy tales into a child's room without going overboard.

If money's tight and a new sofa won't be in the budget for...well, years, consider adding a few throws with a cover you really love. Etsy has so many to choose from!

I love these scooter pillows from Buddy Designs on Etsy (and got the red one for future nursery use.)
