When we saw these neat self-assembled birch objects over at Twig & Thistle we immediately thought they'd be perfect to use in making your own mobile - lightweight, three-dimensional, colorful and you could mix and match however you like.
Idea for DIY Mobile: Birch Lovi Cards
Made by Finnish company Lovi Oy, they are meant to be cards that you can send in the mail to a friend. They're packaged flat and assemble without any tools. There are seven designs to choose from and most come in a bunch of different colors. Kathleen of Twig & Thistle spotted some of them for sale at Anthropologie. They are also available to order directly from Lovi Oy.

I saw these on sale at the Rockefeller Center Anthro...maybe 2-3 weeks ago. I had the same idea about a mobile, but after I got home of course and now I'm sorry I only got one!
