Modern Wood Mobiles by Jenn Ski

2009-07-jennskimobile.jpg

Artist and Mid-Century Modern fan Jenn Ski has moved from two dimensions (remember her alphabet cards?) to three with these affordable, colorful, wood mobiles. They're not a bit babyish so could have a long life in your home after your baby has outgrown mobiles.

One nice feature is that the mobile is adjustable - move each piece up and down the string as you like. You can find them ($35) in Jenn's Etsy shop. We also like her print (above) if you wanted to echo the look of the mobile on your walls.

I love Jenn Ski's whole design aesthetic and the items she has created for sale on Etsy and through K&Company papers!

(Not to be spammy, but I love it so much I made a few things with her Actopus to Zelephant paper line for my tiny etsy shop.)

Anyway, thanks for turning me on to her work, Ohdeedoh. I just wish I could have found those Jenn Ski flashcards! I searched high and low in Dallas with no luck.

These are so cute. My friend recently posted a how-to on similar modern mobiles but with paper, so simple and cute...http://yespleaseblog.blogspot.com/2009/06/diy-project-modern-mobile.html
