You've got another month or so if you're interested in taking your kids to the PLAY+SOFT exhibit at the V&A Museum of Childhood in London. It's free and the kids will get to play around in this amazing line of soft furnishings for children.

It took four years of research and a lot of collaboration to create the items you'll see in this exhibit. According to their website, this is the goal: PLAY+SOFT aims to introduce new sensory and aesthetic qualities into environments for children, with the guiding principle that 'children have a right to beauty'.
Their products include landscapes, micro-places, play structures, mats, transformable seating, and more. They're designed in partnership with the preschools of Reggio Emilia and they just look like so much fun. If you can't purchase your own PLAY+SOFT pieces, it's worth taking a lesson from their example and sticking to lots of different textures and rich colors in your child's play area.
Oh wonderful! I've been meaning to visit their museum in Italy but have never gotten around to it. With a trip to London coming up this will be perfect. Thanks!
