Communication is key to any relationship, but especially so when you add kids to the mix. And when you're sleep deprived with an infant or toddler you may experience both communication breakdowns and memory lapses - what time is the doctor's appointment? what do we need at the grocery store? your mother-in-law is visiting when?
We've been looking around for an attractive memo board and are finding ourselves drawn to these steel ones from Ekoh Design that you can both write on or use with magnets to hold important things like the dry cleaning slip, rent check, etc. We were initially dubious at their description as "industrial-chic" but found lots of designs we like including some that will particularly appeal to kids. You can lean it against a wall on a table or use the adhesive mounting strips to hang it on your wall.

I believe those are Hambly screenprinted overlays. They are one of my favorite scrapbook product designers simply because they produce these overlays that are so versatile. I love how Ekoh Designs has used them.
