We've blogged before about making pillows or quilts out of special onesies and baby's clothes once they grow out of them. Manda sent in these great pics of a pillow she made using her favorite colorful onesies once her daughter had grown out of them.

Manda told us:

I have used three different onesies, as well as some soft red chenille, some natural linen and my favourite Liberty print (Kinnear in red). I already had the linen number tape, but I didn't have any with the alphabet on, so I cut a couple of strips of natural linen, created a border with a decorative satin stitch and then embroidered the alphabet on by hand.

I've used bleached linen for the back of the pillow - using the satin stitch again to stop it from being too dull and to tie it in with the front. The whole thing has then been bound by hand, in exactly the same way that I bind my quilts and all my pillows.

We think it turned out beautiful and Lily will certainly enjoy it for years to come.
