Both are hand-crocheted by a women's coop in South America, and they're machine washable.

What do you think though? A good solution, or is it only reinforcing irrational fears? We can remember imagining a protective bubble over our beds when we were little, so maybe fighting imaginative fears with imaginative solutions isn't such a bad thing? They're available here.

I think if they are brought into the room only after a child has already expressed fears, no harm no foul. Very cute, I love all things knit...
