UO Cable Knit Pillow

Perhaps it's because our hands get too sweaty in the summertime (We know, TMI!) but we love just knitting in the winter. And knitting makes us think of new projects, and while we're not skilled enough just yet to do a cable knit we can completely appreciate the cable knit pillow we found at Urban Outfitters.

The Cable Knit Pillow, $42.00, is an ode to your favorite winter sweater. Filled with a 100% feather insert, the hours of potential snuggling are endless.

The other side of the pillow features a ~~garter stitch~~ reverse stockinette stitch. And how cute would it be with a cable knit afghan of your own?

Cabling is one of the easiest knitting patterns to do. Don't fear the cable! You could totally make this pillow. Knit it yourself or re-purpose an old sweater.

Or just spend the $42 at UO and get it for half what you'd spend on yarn and 1/10th the time. :)

i think that's reverse stockinette on the back, no? such a cute pillow! would be totally easy to knit for yourself.

Hmmm...now I'm not sure...hard to tell with that pic. *squints* Could be, reverse stockinette. Anyone? Garter or reverse stockinette?
