In honor of Valentine's Day, we thought we'd feature some pillows from one of our favorite designers, Alexander Girard.
A master designer who made his mark creating colorful textiles and prints for Herman Miller from the '50s through the '70s, Girard was inspired by the folk crafts of countries like Mexico and India where artisans still worked with their hands and generations-old techniques.
Now, six of Girard's most iconic designs have been reissued as mini-pillows exclusively for Modernseed.
They're perfectly sized for children at 10 inches square, and they'd be really cute on a rocking chair or tossed on a bed. Or even on a couch -- there's no reason at all they need to be relegated to the kid's room.
