Wouldn't white cushions on the floor get dirty pretty fast? Maybe opt for a darker color.

I love looking at the West Elm catalog vignettes, but always feel like you could find something similar at Ikea for a fraction of the price. Maybe find a floor cushion there & just let the kids scribble on it for the same look, but made by you?
