In the comments to our post about the Best Training Potties, many of you wrote that you preferred to use a toilet trainer or potty ring. So for those of you as well as parents with older children, the Kohler Transitions Toilet Seat might be just the answer. Reader Keri tipped us off.

It's designed to accommodate kids without the need to attach a separate seat. The seat features child ring with a smaller opening for the little ones. You simply lift that up when you need to go. Nothing to attach or store - great for small bathrooms. And it just looks a lot cleaner.

The Kohler Transitions Toilet Seat goes for $57.30 (for basic white) and goes up in price for other colors. Fellow Ohdeedoh Editor Carrie found this cheaper option.

$57?? I found something similar at BRU for about $10. It's been perfect.

Note that the cheaper options appear to only work on a non-elongated toilet, but the Kohler option is for an elongated toilet specifically. Also, it has the no-slam seat so you don't have to worry about little fingers getting snapped when putting the seat down. I really love mine!
