The nice folks at Parenting got in touch about their new gallery of clever kids' cakes. What's particularly great is that they provide a recipe and a design diagram for each of the 31 cakes they feature. So whether you want to browse for sheer inspiration or follow their instructions precisely, they are great fun to look at and a good bookmark if you're planning a celebration.
Here's an example of a cake diagram showing which candies and confections they used to embellish the cake. In addition to the cake recipe they also provide step-by-step instructions for assembling everything.
