Crepe Paper With A Twist Stitch

100809-cratepaper.jpg We love seeing projects that take simple items and turn them into something fabulous with a little ingenuity. These beautiful rolls of stitched crepe paper, when doubled up and sewn, turn into decorations that will last for more than just an afternoon...

This idea falls into the category of "Well, why didn't we think of that?!" We saw it and right away we said to ourselves, "Well of course that's a fabulous idea!" Crepe paper is inexpensive, but can be too flimsy to mess with, especially in windy conditions. My Paper Crane is the lady behind this fabulous creation. Make sure to check out her tutorial on making this simple craft at home.
