We originally read about Nora Fleming in Chicago Home + Garden's Nov/Dec '07 Small Spaces issue.

Covering small in all its glory, the magazine profiled Fleming's minis, and one collection is especially designed as kids' party decor (others include designs for various holidays and other types of celebrations).

The minis are essentially collectibles -- interchangeable decor that sit atop a platter, "dressing up your dishes." The idea is that any given platter has a spot for any "mini" you want to showcase. Here is Fleming's collection for kids' parties:
