Upside Down Christmas Tree

2009-11-13-upsidedown.jpg

Shake things up a bit this holiday season with an upside Christmas tree. We've heard of these before but have never seen one in person.

We love how this one is decorated with photos of the family tied on with big bows. This unconventional Christmas tree comes with 800 pre-lit clear lights. The good news is you'll have plenty of room for presents below. This one is available at Sam's Club.

I guess I'm a grinch, because I hate it.

It's an interesting and fun idea. It would drive me nuts in my own home.

I love upside down Christmas trees. The ornaments can actually hang! I've seen some really beautifully ones. Now, if only I could convince my husband!

its kind of an interesting idea and all, but at the same time it makes me think of hanging a flag upside down or something.... i guess it just seems rather anti-christmas to me...

Yes, Star3night, my husband would probably need convincing too, hehe. I'm Christian so the upside down tree doesn't bother me one bit. :)

I think the meaning behind this is for Christians that are fed up with Christmas commercialization. That they are turning Christmas "upside down" to focus more on Jesus' birth, etc.
