These are, yes, adorable. I ordered one a few months ago, happy to fork over 30 bucks for I thought was surely an heirloom in the making. Its varnish wasn't cured adequately, though, and the faces aren't painted on; they're clear decals. So our candle kid's face is peeling. Bummer.

These are adorable. I already have the pieces on hand; I may make 9 of them for my son's birthday...perhaps painted similar to little Lego people? $30 is a lot of money!!
