It's Party Month here at Ohdeedoh, and what better way to kick things off than with a cavalcade of cakey goodness! Sure, birthday cakes get devoured (or worn) within minutes of being presented, but that doesn't stop us from lovingly agonizing over the entire cake designing process. Here's a generous handful of photos to fire up your creativity for your next kiddie party.
Some are obviously created by professionals, and are absolutely lovely. Others have a more homemade look, which warms our hearts. (We suspect you can taste the love.)

My husband would do summersalts for the Wallace and Grommit cake. Any info on where it is from?

I'm just a beginner when it comes to this stuff, but fondant is surprisingly easy to work with. Kind of like playdoh. It would probably take a while to sculpt the characters, but I imagine you could use one of those giant cupcake molds for the spaceship.
I found a person who posted a how-to for Wallace and Gromit cupcakes!
