apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Flickr Finds: Courtney's Playroom

Courtney sent us these gorgeous pics of the playroom she created for her son. She says:

I love having a space like this because there is always a place for toys and it cleans up in about 2 seconds. We try to limit the toys here to a few categories, so that it is easy to organize and really never looks too bad.

The entire right side wall is painted in magnetic and chalkboard paint - not only fun but we actually love the color and depth it gives to the room. You can check out Courtney's other projects here.

(Thanks, Courtney!)

great room... i've always loved the idea of having chalk-board walls/surfaces but can't stand the feel of the chalk.

Totally envious of anyone who can devote a whole room to toys, an apartment dweller's dream... Nice job Courtney!

Great room! I wish we had an extra room for a playroom for the kids. I love the carpet. Where did you get it? Are they carpet tiles?

Where did you get the cute paintings on the wall? Love them!

The carpet tiles are FLOR and the paintings are from Pottery Barn Kids- I bought them on clearance on their website probably two years ago though!

I've been jealous of Courtney's playroom for quite a while now. She has so much style!

SO what I envision for our playroom-to-be! Great inspiration! Are those toy bins positioned below 2 coffee tables? And what is the table below the window made of? Thanks!

What is the table covering the Ikea toy boxes? I would love to create the same thing.
