We love doing this. Also... if you give them a big paintbrush and a bucket of water, they'll clean... er... PAINT your house.

Kind of fun to see my photograph on your site. It's such a simple activity that keeps my three kids entertained for a very long time. Tip: if they paint in the shade, the pictures last longer.

This works great on construction paper, too, if you need to be indoors.

I read about this similar thing someplace - but for painting a fence. It's a great idea - just need to get my 4 yr old to think so!
