In our many searches through Flickr, we often come across a photo or two from a users youth. We found a few bedrooms that made us a bit nostalgic. Our kids won't have old yellowing photos with a vintage look, in age of digital revolution, their past will be crystal clear. Do you still remember your childhood bedroom?

i never had a particularly awesome bedroom as a kid, but my brother saved up his money and decked out his room in black and white checked bedding, black miniblinds and a round mirror with a red plastic frame. it was hot.

I had a green (walls) and yellow (accents) room...awful shades of both. My mom was a big DIY-er, so we had various wood items hanging on the wall that had been painted yellow to match. It makes me wonder when my son's cool sage green and brown room will start to look really dated. :)

When I was really little, I had these dusty pink walls with a floral and stuffed rabbit border. I had to share with my sister which I absolutely hated. I had heavy dark furniture, this big bed, with a matching bed and side table.
When I went to 6th grade we updated the room and painted the walls bright yellow. We got matching mostly white with blue and yellow accent comforters. I loved these big yellow pillows we had. My parents bought this old bedroom set which had a desk, a hutch, and some dressers. We painted it bright white and we each got two pieces to use. Our closets were always stuffed full with stuff because whenever we had to clean our rooms what didn't fit under the bed was thrown in the closet.
We weren't allowed to put stuff on the walls, so we only had a wreath my mom made as decoration.

The little kid in the flag themed room looks like he's in a straight jacket.

Is it just me or does that "War is not healthy..." poster looked Photoshopped in?

Growing up I had white and orange flocked vertical stripped wallpaper and curtains that my mom made with very scary clown string puppets all over them. When I was finally allowed to redo my room, I picked out a very Victorian furniture set because I loved the movie Gone With The Wind. I was supposed to take the set with me when I moved out and married, but I've kindly allowed my parents to keep it.
