When we found these photos on Flickr, upon first glance we honestly believed they were of someone's nursery. It turned out, the photos were of a fabulous doll house put together by Tiffany Bauer, who runs Squeaky Monkey. Tiffany is a Blythe Doll collector and super talented seamstress.
Her Blythe Dolls live it up in style, in rooms that are meticulously put together with attention to every last detail. This doll house would be any little girl's -- or big girl's -- dream come true.
Talk about a mini-tour! The complete set may be found on her Flickr site, and Tiffany's work may also be seen in this month's Haute Doll Magazine.

Several of the notably cute accessories are produced by Re-Ment, by the way, and can be found on eBay or at your local Japanese market or action-figure store. Re-Ment went heavily for the Blythe market (larger than traditional dollhouse dolls, smaller than Barbie), with the result that she can absolutely go to town with tea sets, sushi, shoes, and decor. It's actually easier to get modernist goodies for Blythe than for a regular dollhouse.

Seeing these totally make me want to run out and buy EVERYTHING Blythe!

Oh -- and since Blythe is approximately 1:8, similar to Vogue's Ginny, there's also vintage mid-century furniture that's appropriately sized. This site has a section devoted to it.

Thanks for the comments. :) Blythe is an amazing little creature! Just for the record - she isn't Ginny size... Her body is the size of vintage skipper and with her head - it makes her about as tall as Barbie... So, Barbie sized furniture is the way to go! Creating a dollhouse is a lot of fun and for me it is actually an unfulfilled (until a few years ago when this started) childhood dream. ;)
and Re-Ment is amazing! Here is where I get most of my Re-Ment http://www.hlj.com/company/REM/
Thanks for looking and enjoy!
