You may remember last September we blogged about the PLAY+SOFT exhibit at the V&A Museum of Childhood in London. Well, they've got a new website and some new products that are really easy on the eyes.

The work of feelgood designs is based on one main principle: "Children deserve beauty." We can agree with that. PLAY+SOFT is the collaboration between designers, architects, and the educators over at Reggio Emilia.

Though the design firm works in educational settings and public spaces, they're also right at home in your home's playroom or your child's bedroom. We're not sure of the costs, but we're guessing: not cheap. Well, they're inspiring nonetheless!

I loved the Museum of Childhood. We had a great time there a few years ago. The kids had a great time too.

The furniture looks intriguing.

Well, I was interested in this, but the prices are not published in the catalog (of course!). I've had various soft climbers at different stages, and it strikes me that the price of this line of Italian-made stuff is out of reach for most families. A mid-size modular soft climber you'd find at Little People's Cove online costs $550, so I can imagine the markup on these Italian products. As much as I'd like to have a complete installation of this stuff, I'm going to keep looking for the right price.
