This caught our eye at ICFF because it was playful enough that it'd fit in nicely in a home with children. But...we definitely wouldn't want to encourage kids to play with candles, so we decided on second hand, perhaps not.
ICFF 2008: BLOC from Hyock Kwon
When we stopped by the designer's website we were also intrigued by another design called Tree House My House. Might be a fun idea for older kids.
At any rate, it's fun to see unusual designs like these that stretch the boundaries between play and design.
