High/Low: Gardening Tools for Kids

06-28-071HiLo.jpg

Even the smallest child can get into some gardening action with the right sized tools. We love the Radio Flyer wheelbarrow, Little Red Robin's garden tote with tools and New York Botanical Garden's watering can -- but at over $60 for all of them (plus 3 different shipping and handling prices) it can get a little pricey.

We love Constructive Playthings' Real Gardening set which features all of the above for only $32. So even if your child decides they hate gardening, it won't be too bad.

Kids love watering cans! If you don't know what your child will be intersted in, start with one, then just see what tools they are trying to use of yours. Target has a great selection in stores of cute fun tools. I think they are by David Kirk's SunnyPatch Friends-and are all sold seperately, by just what you need.
