Mini Blinds Turned Garden Stakes

060109-mypapercrane.jpg We spotted this fabulous kid friendly idea over at My Paper Crane, where mom Heidi Kenney had her kids help label this year's garden... with discarded mini blinds! It's super kid friendly and a terrific way to help reuse something that doesn't usually get repurposed. Details after the jump...

My Paper Crane is one busy blog full of art, food, fun and the workings of Heidi Kenney's family. Although we sometimes think there are more hours in her day than there are in ours, it's always a refreshing read to see what her family has been up to.

This time around, Heidi allowed her kids to draw on stakes she cut from old discarded mini blinds. You can check out a few more pictures of her handy work on her Flickr and read the full run down over at the My Paper Crane blog!
