Well, I don't have a diaper bag, or a child (yet...), but by golly we are trying. But I would still love to be considered for the giveaway!!!!

I don't have a diaper bag of my own yet, but I really want to win this for my friend who's due date was yesterday!!

well dont have a baby yet...but i think the little diaper disposing trash bags that are scented are so cool. and if i do win this will be for my friend who is expecting her first child.

My sister is going to have her first in April...and I'm sure that she's going to have bottles or nook-nooks.

Wipes. They clean up a multitude of messes.

Probably a change of clothes. I'm a terrible at putting extra clothes in my diaper bag (just ask my MIL) and my son usually needs another one.

I'm a fan of having ziploc bags to contain the nastiness of the diapers, clothes that have been leaked on, etc.

A spare change of clothes. I say this because it's the one thing I most often forget, and the one thing I most often regret forgetting.

Got to have wipes. This is the most gorgeous stroller bag I have ever seen.

The Most essential -- wipes and/or water (for drinking or washing "bits"). Love the diaper bag - so stylish and it would be a serious upgrade for this twin mom!

It has got to be hand sanitizer. You never know when you need a handwash and don't have any water and soap.

Magic pills...AKA cheerios...Seriously it keeps them quiet, busy and fills them up!

this may seem obvious -- but a CHANGE of clothes (top and bottom for baby, and if room, a t shirt or something for mom). I can't tell you how many times we had an "explosion" out in the world and had to do a complete costume change.

A changing pad so when you're in a public place you don't have to lay your baby directly down onto a nasty changing area.

Well, wipes are covered. Depends how old the kid is! Could be a pacifier for a baby, or a bottle if formula-feeding. For my toddler, it's something for him to keep busy with. Crayons or a book or...you get it.

I think a diaper bag should definately have bottle holders and large clips for a pacifer and small toy. My girlfriend, who is having her first child would absolutely love this. She hates traditional looking bags and this one is so wow and beautiful. It's a boy! Thanks!

I'm not sure yet what my absolute essential will be--my son arrives next month (!!!!) and this is all so new! I read all the books and blogs, the lists of everything I SHOULD have, but all that would require a trunk, not a diaper bag. I'm just trusting that I'll learn soon enough. Thanks for all the great AT advice!

2.hand sanitizer (for me)
3.a change of clothing is an absolute must

Um, wipes are the most important thing other than diapers for me. Have YOU ever tried wiping a small baby's bum with hand towels in a public restroom? I don't suggest it.

Small toys are essential in my diaper bag - they keep my toddler and infant entertained while waiting for the food to come while dining out.

Peanut butter crackers for me...this breastfeeding thing makes me so hungry!

For me it would be that nasty nose sucker that my son hates!
With his acid reflux his episodes can be so bad that it will come out his nose and mouth and the sucker is a life saver, literally! I have one in my diaper bag at all times!

Crayons! Seriously, with two wriggly toddlers nappy change time is like a wrestling match. Give them crayons and paper, and life suddenly becomes aeons easier. Also handy for when on public transport as we discovered last weekend in London!

A pouch sling! Of course it's great because I can roll it up and take it out whenever I need to pop in for a quick trip to a store (now with the hip carry for my 9 month old), but it's also great as a nursing cover (slung over like a sash) and even a changing pag in a pinch. It makes a handy burp cloth and has even been used as a blanket when I found myself with a sleepy son in an overly air-conditioned room in the summer. It's the most versatile thing in my bag! I wouldn't leave home without one!

Crayons to occupy the 2 year old, a burp cloth for the newborn and breast pads for leaky mama. Really, the crayons are the necessity if I had to pick just one!

1) aquaphor - as a diaper cream, to put on cuts, dry skin (especially in the winter weather), around the mouth area if drooling and developing a rash, and smoothing hair down for an impromptu photo op. It's really the all in one.

2) Wipes.

Definitely a burp rag. In a pinch, you can wet it with warm water and use it as a wipe (yes, I've had to do this). Second is a small, thin, flannel receiving blanket to use as a cover for nursing.

Hands down, sturdy wipes!! They can be used in so many situations!

A granola bar for when my daughter screams, "I want a snack!"

Wipes and Kleenex...if I don't have either of those on hand my daughter will ultimately poop her pants and have the runniest nose you can imagine as soon as we get where we are going!

I definitely agree with wipes but for me it has to be a baby lotion with a SPF. I want to make sure that my daughter does not get too much sun even when it looks cloudy outside.
