Ooh Count me in!

Ohhhhhh, how I love Jonathan Adler, and how I adore giraffes. This sconce is perfect for my twins' nursery- we live in a midcentury home with a flat roof and no ceiling lights- wall sconces only. i've not found the perfect sconce for their chocolate brown room...until now! My baby blanket had a giraffe on it when I was young. How appropriate.

As far as other faves go, I LOVE the Parker half round sconce for other areas of my house as well as teh Ventana tripod table lamp- what a unique look. Love the wood and brass combo. Of course, who would not go crazy over the Meurice 20 light chandelier? Than Jonathan sure knows his stuff!

I covet the Capri table lamps in the orange glass casing. I love glass lamps, I love cased glass, and I love orange. What I can't decide is whether I like the taller #1 Capri lamp or the shorter #2 lamp. I guess it would depend where I was going to put the lamp. The orange would give such a great punch of color in my living room. I also really really love the Capri pendant...

BTW, I've been coveting the giraffe lamp for my daughter's nursery for a while. I love the sconces, what a great idea.

I love the Parker Table Torchiere by Jonathan Adler. It is a modern and beautiful lamp design. I actually have a vase that is very similar in design.

I long for one for the Ventana Tripod floor lamp. Total eye candy...my living area sure could use something fantastic like that! Love the giraffe lamp... it would look great in my children's room!

I love the john adler collection. My favorite would have to be the tripod table and floor lamp. It gives an old world feel to the modern straight line lamp. Perfect amount of detail and beautiful overall shape.

And, I love the delicate lines and mid-century feel of the Ventana Tripod Table Lamp. The lamp's "legs" are very reminiscent of tapered legs on 1960's furniture. Which we have a lot of in our house!

This giraffe lamp has been on my list for our dream nursery for a while. I get excited anytime I see it featured in a magazine or on a blog. I love the Adler Animal Menagerie banks too. Couldn't afford one so I settled on a similar one from PBK.

The other Adler lamp I like is the Meurice Table Lamp.

I can claim no other favorites: I've been in love with the giraffe lamp ever since, one day in the Jonathan Adler store, I turned to my too-tall husband and said "look, it's like a white ceramic you peeking out from the lampshade." When we were putting the finishing touches on our kid's tiny nursery four months ago I mourned the lack of tabletop space for the lamp. Now, a sconce! Small, cool, brilliant!

This is such a cute lamp! But one other one that I've been dreaming about for my living room is a Jonathan Adler floor lamp. I don't know the name of it, but it has a large, heavy, white-lacquered turned-wood base with a drum shade. Heaven! But, like Heaven, it's slightly out of my range.

I actually prefer the giraffe over all of the other pieces....I have a tall plastic giraffe clothing stand from back when i was a kid that i recently painted all white in homage to the Adler piece...it sits in my daughter's room waiting for a friend!

The Ventana Tripod Table Lamp could work quite well in my house. I love these fun modern styles. I love that giraffe lamp too. Spectacular.

My 2 year old son's lovey is a small, stuffed Giraffe we affectionately call "Raffi". Raffi is like our third child! He is my son's best friend and helps him through tough transitions, he snuggles with him at night, he dresses him up. You name it, Raffi is with us! Giraffes hold a special place in hearts.

That giraffe lamp is the cutest lamp I think I have ever seen. But I don't want you to think I didn't go to look at the other lamps, because I did! I had never even heard of Johnathon Adler before, so thank you for introducing me to his stuff. If I had to pick another favorite other than the giraffe (which would go perfectly with my son's giraffe poster, by the way!), it would be the cool lantern sconce. We don't really do table lamps as much because we have kittens AND boys in the house, but I would sure break my own rules to win this contest! ; )

We absolutely love the giraffe sconce and we really like the Capri pendant lamp in orange as well. Perhaps it's because we are both graduates of the University of Texas, and so naturally we've used pops of orange, mostly of the burnt variety, in our son's nursery much like the April 4th post, titled "Look! Using Orange in Kids' Rooms."

oh dear... I am afraid I am much too late in the game to get in on this one. I love that giraffe sconce! Giraffes are one of my favorite animals and I'd get such a kick out of having that. But my other favorites are probably the Ventana tripod floor lamp and table lamp.

May I just say that my boyfriend and I have a griaffe theme in our bathroom, and the giraffe sconces or lamp would be a perfect addition.

While I the Carlyle Beaded Table Lamp is hot, my choice for favorite Jonathan Adler table lamp is the Ventana Tripod Table Lamp. Antique details juxtaposed with a modern frame makes it absolutely scrumptious.

Carlyle Beaded Table Lamp

This is the story the way my dad tells it: When I was born six weeks early during a long New England winter,his grad school advisor gave him a two-foot tall Steiff giraffe as a gift for me. My dad carried it with the head sticking out of his backpack on the MTA on his way to the hospital. It's been with me ever since, and when I saw the Adler lamp, I knew just what my very young dad must have looked like on his way to bring the gift to his four-pound daughter in her incubator.

What a nice lamp! I also like the Ventana Tripod Table Lamp.

The Carlyle Corset Lamp is just so sexy. It is my favorite piece. I can't imagine anything that could be done to make it more perfect!

Jonathan Adler designs are classy and signify contemporary elegance. There is not one lighting fixture that I did not like. I would gladly use all of them in my home, they blend right in with my decor and vision that I have created in my home. My absolute favorite is the Parker Table Torchiere by Jonathan Adler. The Capri #2 in orange is a teriffic lamp, it gives the impression it would cast a warm glow at night and be bright and cheery to wake up to in the morning.

Love this guy! I'm also a fan of his Capri line, especially the Capri #2 table lamp in blue. It's a color and shape that are fun and serene, all at once.

I want the Maurice 30 light chandelier. I'd also suggest he stop allowing Simon to dress him. He looks better in clothes that fit. Those Thom Yorke suits riding halfway up his calves are not fitting for a man his age. Actually, I think a man needs to be very small to pull off that look.
