apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Thursday Giveaway: Small Paul Log Rocker from 10 Grain

2008-03-19-rocker1.gif

We were so excited when we first heard about the collaboration between Paul Frank and Eric Pfeiffer to create well-designed furniture pieces for the little ones. One of the best pieces in the collection is the Log Rocker. We like the free-form design that allows kids to use it the way they want to and it's roomy enough for two.

2008-03-19-rocker2.gif

The Log Rocker is made of molded plywood and has solid wood handles. And as always, we love the Paul Frank details on the underside.

If you're a fan like us, you'll be excited to know that we're giving one away to a lucky Ohdeedoh reader! To enter to win, just leave us a comment below before Monday 3/24 at noon EST, telling us where in your house you would put the Log Rocker. We'll choose one winner randomly.

Thanks to 10 Grain!

I could see it migrating from family room, to play room, to kitchen and to bedroom in the course of a day. And with 5 kids to fight over it, I'm sure it would occasionally be discreetly hidden in a closet as well.

We have a sort of second living room that has been converted (for now) into a playroom where we'd keep it. There's extra thick carpeting in case that bronco gets too wild (and I mean my daughter)!

Id put it in the middle of my living room. We have a very large family with lots of kids between the ages of 11m and 12 yrs so it would get A LOT of use.. and maybe they would stop climbing all over the furniture and focus on the rocker instead :)

In our living room I try to keep one "big" toy at a time out. Sometimes its the little plastic slide from outside, or popup tents, because they are always climbing on the sofa and desk in there. This would certainly keep them off the other furniture for a while.
