Birthday Calendar Suggestions?
Good Questions

calendar072309.jpgQ - I hope somebody out there can help me. I'm terribly disorganised and after forgetting yet another birthday this year, I've decided to look for a nice birthday/event calendar which I can hang in my kitchen - one which can be downloaded and printed at home if possible. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Editor - One fun one (shown above) is a customizable perpetual calendar by Sparkle and Sketch. You send in photos for the designer to use.

Please add your suggestions for Siobhan to the comments below....thanks!

Just got an email from Martha Stewart Organizing - here's a template for a birthday list.

what about making a picture one from kodak, iphoto, snapfish, etc

you could also DIY w/ your own printer for free by printing out pictures and using google calanders.

I am a 50 year old grandma, great aunt, mom with lots of birthdays to remember. I put all my special lovies into my iphone and ical to be repeated yearly then I also set an alert to remind me 10 days before so I could get cards or gifts into the mail.

A Print A Day offers tons of pretty printable downloads for free. There's also a blank calendar. Here's the link:

I use an online service called Birthday Alarm. www.birthdayalarm.com It's a free service where you enter in the name and birth date of whomever you want to remember. You can also set up how far in advance you want to be reminded. I have it set to send me a reminder (via email) 1 week and then 3 days prior to the day. I don't remember but you may also have it send you a text with the reminder. I figure email is enough for me and I no longer forget birthdays.

I use a birthday book. It's just a notebook/visual diary with a double page spread for each month. On one page you list all the numbers in the month, and write next to each date the name of the birthday person.

On the other side of the spread make a pocket, and in the pocket put cards that you have made/bought.

This way, you can have the birthday book open for the month, and you can see when it's people's birthdays, and have a card ready to give them!

I also just put birthdays in my phone, and get it to beep and remind me a week/day before. :-)
