Good Question: Chairside Tables

eames-sidetable-whiteblack.jpg
Amy sent us an email:"I'm looking for a small table or bookshelf to put next to my glider...I'd like to be able to have books within arms reach and a place to put my water glass for those marathon nursing sessions. Any ideas? Thanks!"

Good question, Amy.

Well, Amy we're personally big fans of the Eames wire-base side table. It's an unassuming, yet stylish, little table that comes in black or white.

And in the "more bang for your buck" department, we also really like the Klubbo nesting tables and Dalom pedestal table both by Ikea.

Readers, what are you favorite picks?

I have a different table from Ikea. I can't find it on the website, but it's like a TV dinner table but it's natural wood (so you can stain/paint it) and it's exactly the height of the arm of my glider. It's not too big but it holds a big humidifier, a tissue box, clock, and there's still room for a phone or books.
