Good Questions: A Nice Play Table?

2007-02-15-table.jpg Hey AT Nursery!

I'm looking for a nice play table that my 19 month old can sit at to play with play doh, draw, and do puzzels. Storage would be nice, as would it being big enough that she would not grow out of it too fast. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the question Nell.

We know on the low end Target has a couple of nice options. Check out their Activity Table online.

On the high end, we love the Ducduc PJ Playtable pictured above available at Mini Jake.

Somewhere in the middle of those two, you'll find a whole bunch of choices at The Land of Nod.

Anyone else have a play table you love?

I'm definitely biased, but we have the Fundy Play Table at home for our (4 year-old) daughter and she loves it. Lots of storage and still small enough to roll from room to room. http://www.sparkability.net/fundyplaytable.html

Melissa and Doug makes a really great play table that retails for around $100. It has a storage drawer, is relatively easy to put together, and can be used for a train set, doll house, blocks, art, anything. The top is reversable, so if you want to use it for art and a train, for instance, you can flip the top so the train isn't on the "dirty" side.

No problem Nell...I was just noticing that Land of Nod has a table you can buy an extra set of higher legs for so that the table can actually grow with the kids a bit. http://www.landofnod.com/family.aspx?c=1529&f=665&pc=4&viewall=1
