Carrie is looking for some accessory ideas: I need help designing my 3-year old son's new room! I'm designing it around this Angela Adams' rug, which is called "scoot" (i think). The colors are pale blue, robin's egg blue, and chocolate brown...

There was a post the other day with Japanese paper lanterns hung from the ceiling -- that might be fun to do in the pale blue and brown colors, to play off the circles rug.

For wall art, you could copy this idea:

Just get some fun car-themed fabric and embroidery hoops and you have round art (again, to play off the rug). Plus, you can switch it out easily and inexpensively when/if your son tires of cars.
I'm a big fan of plain colored bed linens myself. First of all, they're easier to find and easier to mix and match. But mostly, it's because the minute you get too into a theme, he'll hate it all and you'll have to start from scratch.
