What a thoughtful gift! To record all of the memories and feelings, and organize the appointments and questions, we suggest the 40 Weeks + Essential Pregnancy Organizer. It's about $20 and has pre-printed pages for you to fill-in. It also has places to insert your ultrasound photos - we checked! This one takes you through pregnancy only.
For recording baby's precious moments, we like this Baby Book from Binth. It's handcrafted with places for photos and will take you through to baby's 3rd birthday.

If you don't like the idea of buying 2 separate journals or you want something more free form, we suggest buying a well-made photo album or scrapbook. Try Kolo for a great selection of high quality albums.
