Emily writes: I've been questing for the perfect rocker for a nursery. I ran across this photo on a blog from 2007 & I can't find a chair like this anywhere. Has anyone run across anything like this?

Hey - I think you saw this post on my blog. I found that rocker, and the other one in the original post (right here), by searching Ebay, Craigslist, and Google for the keywords "mid century rocker", "eames rocker", and both of those again with 'rocking chair' instead of rocker.
You don't mention your budget, but here are two that popped up for me today (neither is bargain-basement):
First option
Second option
I searched periodically over a couple weeks to turn up 'good ones', best of luck to you!

not as cool as this one, but pretty close, have a wood worker add the curved bottoms and you got your chair. They do not come cheap, this one that you have the picture of, probably cost $900 in this shop...

Looks a lot like the Rapson Rapid rocker! we sell it at our store, but I'm sure you can find a vintage version online. Definitely search using "Rapson Rocker" by Ralph Rapson. The styling is a similar look to the chair picture, and it's available in lots of colours.
We'll be selling it online soon at www.ellaandelliot.com
