Good Questions: P'kolino Toddler Bed to Chair Conversion?

pko050109.jpgTracy is curious: I'm wondering if any readers have purchased this toddler bed from P'kolino, which claims to convert into a chair but uses a standard crib mattress (a mini futon?). As our mattress isn't at all flexible, I don't see how this is possible and was wondering if anyone could provide insight.

It comes with a cushion for the chair. You don't use the mattress.

The manual can be found here, there is a section on how to convert it to a chair. Like catie said, it is supposed to come with a flexible cushion to use in "chair mode". http://www.pkolino.com/manuals/bmanual.pdf

We just bought this bed for our son last weekend and are really happy with it. It's solid (heavy) and cute. Most important, he loves it! It folds up (without the crib mattress) kind of like a futon to become a chair if you want it to.
