Good Questions: Toddler-friendly Faucet Fixtures?

Heather sent us this question: I'm looking for a toddler friendly bathroom faucet fixture. Any suggestions?

Thanks Heather. We're not sure if you're looking for the sink and/or the tub, but if you're looking for the tub, you can Boo boo proof your tub with these soft terry covers. They go over the faucet and knobs to protect your toddler from the hard metal edges.

If it's the faucet cover, I highly reccommend the flo by boon. It's a soft plastic, the water flows out like a waterfall which my kids love, and it's easy to clean and fits well/easy to remove. I've tried a bunch, and this one is the best.

I loved the look of the Flo, but it doesn't fit on a lot of faucets, including ours. The store we bought one from said it was their most-returned item, and they were not surprised to see us back.

We bought a large plastic sand pail at the dollar store and hung it over the tub faucet (the shower pull keeps it from slipping off). It sticks out farther than the faucet does so my son bumps into the soft plastic first. Also we drew a face on it, and cut out the mouth area so the water pours out from there. Add a bit of soap in the pail and our "Bob the Bubble Bucket" spits out bubbles into the tub. My son thinks it's hysterical.
