Good Questions: Wallpaper on a Roller Blind?

roller030109.jpgGreenolive sent us a good question: I'm trying to think of ways to jazz up a vinyl roller blind. Does anyone know if I can successfully glue wallpaper to a vinyl blind?

Sure. Or fabric. My interior decorating mom does this all the time.

You don't have to glue it to a vinyl blind. You can just staple your canvas printed with a photo (at Kinko's) to the bare tube of the roller blind, roll it up a few turns, and use it like that. You just have to fiddle with it until it gets the right tension back in the spring.
