I wanted wood hangers too, but found these instead -- they are brilliant! They are very practical: each hanger can hang either pants or a skirt or tops/dresses; the hook can swivel around, and you can colour-code clothes. I've used them for over 5 years now for both kids, and recommend them a lot.

For something a bit different, you can get some from honeybunch:

Or from Ladybug Art:

I have the Container Store ones (the link in the first comment by jensational). The quality is good, the size is good, they pretty much check off the 'wood hanger' item from the list. I would have gotten more of the combo style that include pant clips, because you can use it as a regular hanger and ignore the pants part but the clips are there when you need them. Handy for hanging all kinds of random baby stuff, like cards and bags in my case.

I got these and love them. They only come in bulk but they'll be the only hangers I ever have to buy for my two kiddos.

I agree about the need for the clips....makes it much easier to keep two-piece outfits together.

I use wooden hangers for my displays when I go to craft shows. I've gotten them all off eBay.

I have two sizes: baby and toddler. The toddler hangers have all had a metal wire running through the middle with clips for skirts or pants. I just had my husband cut through it with some pliers. Then he used a different pair of pliers to pull the wire out of the wood.

My sister-n-law just asked me today to sell her toddler and children wood hangers. She owns an upscale dress shop for women, kids and toddlers, but has discontinued a lot of the kid and toddler lines. The hangers she uses are top of the line wood hangers. If you are still looking for wood hangers and need to see some pictures, let me know. I have 4 different types and about 100-150 of each to sell. Email address: joshbryan123@gmail.com
