Ways to Incorporate Quote In Son's Room?
Good Questions

cr100209.jpgQ: I came across this wonderful quote and I'm trying to find a way to incorporate it into my son's room:

you're braver than you believe. stronger than you seem. and smarter than you think.
~ christopher robin in pooh's grand adventure

I am fairly crafty, but don't have a ton of time, so I am hoping for something on the easier side...

Any ideas aside from printing the quote in a cool font and framing it?

His room is a sail boat/nautical theme, but that will likely change when we move him to his "big boy room" next year, so I'm not really tied to any kind of particular theme.

I really love the idea you have of just printing in a strong font and framing. It is such a beautiful quote, it really doesn't need more than that! I like the idea of making the words "braver, stronger, smarter" in a different color than the rest of the quote. Just a thought! Very sweet quote!

How about stenciling it on the wall? (I like mrslaurenleigh's idea of making "braver, stronger, smarter" in a different color).

Why not get someone to print it out on vinyl lettering? It's easy to apply, and when you want a change, you just peel it off with no damage to the wall.

I love the quote by the way. I may do this for my son's room.

what a great quote! i second karajoys idea of getting vinyl decals, blik does custom quotes, or i'm sure you could commision a decal seller on etsy to do it.

You could embroider it on a piece of cloth and hang it in the hoop itself. I have seen stuff like that all over lately and I don't think it would take too long! I am thinking of something like this:

I loved the Sugarboo “Before You Were Conceived” Frame but I wasn't willing to pay the $265.00 price tag and they didn't have the colors I wanted anyway. Searched on Etsy and found Jennifer at Hope Studio's. She made a beautiful CUSTOME made 20x20 white distressed Hand Painted Memory Picture Frame with the following quote on it, "Before you were conceived I wanted you. Before you were born I loved you. Before you were here an hour I would die for you. This is the miracle of love.”

I stenciled a quote on my kitchen wall not long ago. It was cheaper than ordering vinyl lettering, and only took an evening to do. Here's how I did it: http://www.mybitofearth.net/2009/08/writing-on-the-wall.html

Hey there! I made a vinyl decal with the same quote for my daughter's playroom. If you specify colors & sizing, I'd be happy to make one for you as well. Email me @ info@lesoirees.com.

If this is breaking the comment rules i apologize in advance, this is my first comment.

I create custom quotes cut out of paper and illustrated appropriately for the quote. You can see some of my designs here -

I think this is a simple and cheap whimsical way to illustrate something typography based.
