Working Mother magazine recently announced their twenty picks for the Best Green Companies for America's Children. Some, like organic yogurt maker Stonyfield Farms, didn't surprise us. Others, like Subaru (whose Indiana plant has 3 years under its belt for having zero-landfill status), did.
We also wouldn't have guessed that Kohl's is the second-largest retail purchaser of green power in the country and has begun converting its stores to solar power.
