Apple-a-Day Lunch Bag by Spool Sewing

2008-09-05-spoollunch.jpg

Our little sister was an early green crusader and insisted on bringing her lunch to school (Catholic school at that!) in a cloth Crown Royal Whiskey bag. This Apple-a-Day lunchbag by Spool Sewing in Philadelphia might have been more appropriate.

Cute bags!

Though I don't understand why it's shocking to bring your own lunch to Catholic school. Are Catholics somehow notorious for cafeteria lunches or something?

Absolutely adorable - though I'm not sure I'm crafty enough for even this....

I think the shocking part was that she took her lunch to Catholic school in a Crown Royal Whiskey Bag. ;-)

Actually, Crown Royal is rye. At least in its native Canada. My Dad drank Crown Royal and those bags were great for childhood collection, like marbles, coins, pebbles and so on. As an adult I still use them, for makeup, lunches and all manner of things.
