Eco-Friendly Paint Roundup

2007_11_05_yolo paint chips.jpg Greener Paint Options. In case you were inspired by October's Color Month to get out the paint brushes and add or change some color in your home, we've put together some eco-friendly (and child-friendly) paint resources for you. We've done the legwork by collecting all the AT posts we could find on the topic and putting them in one place as well as added a few extra resources.

Ellen is fantastic to deal with and her colors are amazing. Zero smell and scubable too.

Glidden, your favorite home depot paint, is the same line as ICI. ICI is sort of the industry brand. ICI has a no-voc line called Lifemaster 2000. There are many ICI stores around the country, and EVERY COLOR in their palette is available in the no voc line.

You will find with other paints that the rich deep colors are not available in no-voc. I assume something about the pigment and saturation.

Hope this helps.
