Let your kids keep the appliances pristine and white, or ask them to draw in details and designs as a fun art project. We noticed there is no cardboard dryer available. Maybe because Nume means for us to dry our clothes outside on a line to save energy; or maybe it's actually a HE washer/dryer combo model.
Each is $38 and available here.
These are great! We have a little cardboard playhouse that started out white and came with a bunch of markers-it was great to take on a vacation and gave my daughter a small space of her own. These would really get their imagination going. I tried to do something similar with a microwave box we had left over, but it used some big pointy staples in its construction. I'm guessing these just fold or are glued.

Ha! These remind me of a favorite childhood plaything. My mother worked in a cardboard box factory when my sister and I were young, and we used to make our own version of these with the huge "rejects" she brought home for us.

My brother and I loved getting big boxes from our dad (he owns an autobody shop). We'd play with them forever and then take them outside and fill them with water and pretend they were sinking ships. Funny how the simplest things are so much fun.

I too had so much fun with cardboard boxes as a child! This is the kind of thing I want our son to play with. Though, we'll make our own *sorry*.
