Reusing Baby Bottles

2009-08-13-spice.jpg

So you've seen a clever and pretty way to reuse glass baby food jars. But what about baby bottles? We have quite an assortment, both plastic and glass, that we would hate to toss. Reader Tracy sent in her idea for reusing her Medela breastmilk bottles.

She turned the small bottles into spice jars. They are the perfect size, have well-fitted lids, and allow you to see what's inside. Instead of a fancy label, Tracy simply wrote on strip of masking tape to label each bottle. We love how it turned out. Check out more photos of her project on her blog Shutterbean.

(Thanks, Tracy!)

That makes such sense! I can't WAIT to use this idea. In eight months or so when the baby is finished with breastfeeding.
