The Greens, WGBH

Meet the Greens! Smart, funny, irreverent and with a tone of optimism and hope, The Greens is a new website from WGBH (the good folks who brought the world Zoom) designed to keep your kids informed and interested in keeping the planet clean. Cousins, Izzy and Dex, are joined by Grandma, Izzy's Dad, Dex's mom and some neighborhood friends to share animated videos, a blog and lots of ideas for how kids can help take care of the planet.

It's a great site to look at with your older children and you will enjoy a lot of the jokes - like Izzy's misguided typographical effort to save "Wales" and a video homage to Project Runway.

For now, The Greens is just an interactive web project, but with enough fans it could turn into a PBS television show - definitely one we would watch.
