Happy Birthday to Oliver George!
Kati tells us: Oliver loves trucks in that stereotypical way you expect boys to love trucks. He also loves working with his daddy in the garden and giving hugs to anyone who wants one. He has been diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy, but he doesn't let a silly diagnosis get in his way. He is stubborn, determined and very independent...
...and while those traits might frustrate us every now and then, they have done wonders to help him overcome his delays. For his birthday, we're celebrating with a yellow-themed party (yellow is his favorite color), and his dad and I are building him a play kitchen. (What kind of Ohdeedoh reader would I be if I didn't build my kid a play kitchen?)
The photos are from our recent trip to the ballpark. The place was empty, but Oliver loved watching the tractors on the field and checking out the view from way up high. As you can see, he's outgrowing his pants faster than I can replace them!
